Founded in 2008 by Anik Rosenblum, Dancing Line produces original, expressive and (occasionally) award-winning animation for broadcast and digital media.

We have managed a variety of creative projects, from large multiplatform campaigns (including a series of TV commercials, digital, and print), to small educational videos and PSAs.

We have enjoyed working with international ad agencies like DDB, Digitas and FCB, local agencies like Rethink and Williams Whittle, and direct for clients like Canada Protection Plan, WorkSafeBC, Select Health of South Carolina.

If the client is looking to us to come up with a concept, we create a treatment proposal (often with a couple of different approaches for the client to choose from), which we then develop following branding guidelines and client’s notes.

If the client already has a clear idea of what they would like to do, we closely follow their vision with sensitive and creative execution.

Working primarily with 2D character animation, including hand-drawn, cut-out, and other animation techniques, we focus on expressive character performance, lively naturally flowing movement and engaging storytelling.

Our goal is to effectively deliver the message in a fresh imaginative way while establishing an emotional connection with the audience.

Our work has won Telly, Addy, Pixie, and AToMiC awards.
