Lauren Caris Cohan is a writer, director, and creative director focused on emotional, visceral, and personal storytelling. 
As the Artistic Director of Free People for nine years, Lauren spearheaded and cultivated their internal creative agency and film program, FP Presents, that focused on telling elevated, evocative stories through branded content.

Her first film series, “Roshambo,” starring Christopher Abbott, which she wrote and Creative Directed , received over one million views collectively on both YouTube and Vimeo, and her films have been Staff Picked by Vimeo on many occasions. 

Lauren’s adventurous spirit and her position with Free People have led her across the globe, and helped to shape her unique, sensitive, and (occasionally) humorous storytelling. 

Lauren is currently in development on a project with Imagine, 21st Century Fox & Hulu based on her short film “Dream Girl,”.

Lauren is represented by the Creative Artists Agency as a writer and director and managed by The Shuman Company. She spends most of her time on a plane between New York and Los Angeles.
