Mathilde is a self-taught director, art director and designer who started out as a professional photographer at age 19. She directed various reportages before turning her interest toward cookbooks, which led to her meeting Thierry Marx. She was then sent on a path to create a new kind of "culinary" imagery, which explored the surreal landscapes and a transcendent beauty of organic materials. Her style stems from her attraction to nature itself, which she feels a calling to protect.
