Patrick Clair is a director, creative director, and motion designer based in Los Angeles, California.
He is creative head of production studio Antibody and is part of Los Angeles-based agency Elastic’s group of filmmakers.
He has an undergraduate from Queensland University of Technology, where he focused on live-action directing, including 16mm short films, and a graduate degree in visual effects and titles design from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. After finishing his studies, he worked at MTV and with Australia’s national broadcaster the ABC. He freelanced for several years until starting Antibody in Sydney, Australia.
Patrick has created work for advertising, production, and broadcast, producing work for MTV, NBC, ABC, TEDx, and Ubisoft. He was a speaker at the Semi-Permanent Conference on the power of design to address social issues. He has been creative director on the title sequences for TV shows True Detective and Halt and Catch Fire.
