An award winning feature film, series, and commercial director, Stewart Hendler is a passionate proponent of describing himself in third person.
With over 15 years experience at the helm of all types of filmed entertainment—from Hollywood movies to global marketing campaigns—Stewart has collaborated with major studios, A-level filmmakers, and legendary brands.
His credits include the Primetime Emmy nominated HALO: FORWARD UNTO DAWN, a five-part action series produced for Microsoft which garnered over 55 million views and won Streamy awards for Best Drama Series, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Production Design (he'd never heard of a Streamy award either) along with several other industry awards and nominations.
Hendler also slogged his way through the studio system to direct two theatrically released studio movies (both mercilessly mauled by rotten tomatoes) and directed and executive produced the 48-part scifi adventure, H+, the first large-scale web series with Warner Brothers and X-MEN producer Bryan Singer.
Hendler's list of advertising clients includes Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Maserati, VW, Toyota and Budweiser, and his industry recognition includes an AICP Award for his work on Zune (remember Zune?).
A graduate of the USC's Film Production program, Hendler's short films have won awards including the Sundance Film Festival Online Audience Award.
